本案透過留白與動線安排，讓人、貓與孩子彼此可見，卻互不打擾，在空間中自然共生。
Within the Japanese aesthetic of “Ma,” distance is not separation, but the beginning of relationships.
Through spatial voids and circulation planning, this project allows humans, cats, and children to remain visible to one another, yet undisturbed—coexisting naturally within the space.
故事背景｜在同一空間中，尋找彼此之間最剛好的距離
屋主為30至40歲的家庭，育有兩名年幼女兒，並與兩隻貓共同生活。
日常在忙碌與陪伴之間切換，家的角色不只是休息的場所，試圖在關係之間建立適當的距離，讓生活的流動發生。
The homeowners are a family in their 30s to 40s, with two young daughters, living together with two cats.
Their daily life shifts between busyness and companionship; the home is not merely a place for rest,
but an attempt to establish an appropriate distance within relationships, allowing life to flow naturally.

設計議題｜多重生活節奏中，建立彼此之間剛好的距離
屋主一家四口與兩隻貓共同生活，不同行為模式在同一空間，彼此重疊卻相互干擾。
原始格局亦存在廚房空間不足、收納機能分散等問題，使生活動線與使用效率受限。
如何在有限空間中整合機能與動線，同時回應人與動物之間的差異需求。
The family of four lives with two cats, where different behavioral patterns overlap within the same space, often causing interference.
The original layout also presented issues such as an undersized kitchen and fragmented storage, limiting circulation and overall efficiency.
The challenge lies in integrating functions and circulation within a limited space, while addressing the differing needs of both humans and animals.

設計概念｜家之間，即是「間ま」
以日本美學「間（ま）」為核心，孩子的活動、貓咪的移動與大人的日常，
陪伴不需被刻意安排，在日常之中靜靜地發生。

01設計巧思｜人與貓的共生系統
透過水平（人）與垂直（貓）動線分離，串聯層板至電視牆，建立可感知卻互不干擾的共存關係。
By separating horizontal (human) and vertical (cat) circulation, and linking platforms to the TV wall,
a coexisting relationship is established—perceptible yet free from interference.

02設計巧思｜廚房核心化
放大原有廚房尺度，導入「角落小店舖」與上推窗設計，強化客餐互動，成為家庭交流中心。
The original kitchen is expanded and reimagined with a “corner shop” concept and lift-up windows,
enhancing interaction between dining and living areas to become the social heart of the home.

03設計巧思｜寵物機能空間化
以垂直動線，延伸生活的另一種尺，度沿牆面設置層板與跳台，串聯至高處平台，形成連續的貓咪活動路徑，
將垂直空間轉化為日常的一部分。動線與窗景結合，使貓咪停留、觀察與移動自然發生。
Through vertical circulation, an alternative scale of living is introduced.
Shelves and platforms are arranged along the walls, connecting to elevated perches to form a continuous path for the cats, transforming vertical space into part of everyday life.
Integrated with window views, the route allows cats to pause, observe, and move naturally.

04設計巧思｜氛圍塑造日系木質與光的層次
以木質元素與細節收邊為基底，搭配天花間接照明，柔化空間界面，營造溫潤且安定的日常氛圍。
Grounded in wood elements and refined detailing, the design is complemented by indirect ceiling lighting to soften spatial boundaries and create a warm, calm everyday atmosphere.

公領域採開放式配置，串聯客廳與休憩區，引入自然光，形塑通透且延展的空間感。
電視牆整合收納與展示機能，並延伸貓咪動線，讓垂直活動融入日常；天花以木質框架搭配軌道燈與間接照明，建立光的層次。
The public area adopts an open layout, connecting the living and lounge spaces while introducing natural light to create a sense of openness and spatial continuity.
The TV wall integrates storage and display functions, extending the cats’ circulation path so vertical movement becomes part of daily life; the ceiling features a wooden framework combined with track and indirect lighting to establish layered illumination.

02空間巧思｜餐廳廚房
以界面轉化，重塑生活交流核心透過「角落小店舖」概念，
將廚房轉化為半開放場域，上推窗與折疊窗框界定內外關係，串聯料理與用餐互動。
木質量體包覆廚房核心，整合機能並柔化設備感，使空間更貼近日常尺度。
Through the transformation of spatial boundaries, the home’s social core is redefined.
Adopting a “corner shop” concept, the kitchen becomes a semi-open domain, where lift-up and folding windows frame the interior–exterior relationship, linking cooking with dining interactions.
A wooden volume envelops the kitchen core, integrating functions while softening the presence of appliances, bringing the space closer to a human, everyday scale.

以簡化量體與整合收納為主，降低視覺干擾，維持空間的純粹與安定。
床頭立面以柔和材質與色彩鋪陳，搭配間接照明，形塑溫潤且放鬆的氛圍；窗邊引入自然光，使日夜之間產生細緻轉換。
Focused on simplified volumes and integrated storage, the design minimizes visual clutter, maintaining a sense of purity and calm. The headboard wall features soft materials and tones, complemented by indirect lighting to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere; natural light from the window introduces subtle transitions between day and night.

情感回饋｜「間」的存在
這個家中，生活不再被劃分，而是彼此交織。
透過「間」的存在，讓關係得以呼吸，在不打擾之中，維持溫柔的連結。

In this home, life is no longer divided, but interwoven.Through the presence of “Ma,”
relationships are given room to breathe, sustaining a gentle connection without disturbance.
